Writing Competitions 2020

We are delighted to announce this new page for our web site, where we will keep you updated with a selection of national writing competitions.

Members of The Scribblers of Brevard and anyone else who subscribes to, or reads this page will be able to enter these competitions. The first list of competitions is restricted to short stories and poetry written by writers who do not have to have been previously published but as we continue to build the page we will add competition details for novels (including already-published novels) and works of non-fiction as well as specific genres. We will also add details for competitions that are specified as being open to writers within certain age groups or other socio-demographic profiles.

As the database of competition listings grows we will archive the previous month’s listings so that you can refer back to them in succeeding years.
